Reebow Gear - Featured AliExpress Store

One of my first, and most favourite go-to AliExpress store for EDC bags and pouches.

Reebow Gear specializes in high quality everyday carry bags and pouches, as well as apparels like soft shell jackets, tactical pants, and tactical gloves. Reebow Gear is one of the first AliExpress store I stumbled into out of pure chance back in August 2014, and had been my preferred store eversince.

What I like about Reebow Gear is their strong preference for bags and pouches made from 1000D nylon, whether its standard high density nylon or CORDURA.They still do carry standard fare 600D Oxford nylon bags and pouches, which I would discourage from buying; the price difference with the former are only a few Dollars more. Some of their bag and pouch lineups tend to be Maxpedition clones, like the widely cloned Maxpedition Falcon II backpack and Maxpedition Thermite Versipack.

Reebow Gear's apparel lineup consists of tactical soft shell jackets, winter jackets (both civilian and tactical style), hoodies, polo shirts, combat shirts, tactical pants, and others. Some of their polo shirts are made from breathable COOLMAX moisture wicking fabric, while some long sleeve shirts and tactical pants are of 60/40 polyester cotton blend. Others, like the IX7/IX9 pants, features 97% cotton and 3% spandex. They also carry headwear and facewear, such as boonie hats, baseball caps, balaclavas, shemaghs, and airsoft masks and helmets.

Other items that Reebow Gear carry in their shop are small EDC tools such as carabiners and multitools, as well as general camping equipment like sleeping bags and hammocks, to other interesting items of note, such as a K9 load bearing harness.

Shipping time is standard fare AliExpress, which is usually three weeks at best, or a month and longer at worst, depending on where you live. I do notice some Russian buyers occasionally end up with poor shipping speed of the latter, while most other countries tend to fall into the former. Fortunately the option for faster courier delivery in the form of EMS and DHL are available should you need something shipped from Reebow Gear urgently. Their EMS charge tend to start around US$15 which is fairly reasonable; some AliExpress sellers seem to enjoy placing exorbitant EMS charge, or simply have no idea how to properly calculate them.

The owner of Reebow Gear, Alex Yang seems pretty responsive to complaints and inquiries, at least from my personal experience. During one particular purchase of a quick dry CORDURA fabric hiking pants, I had earlier inquired which colour is Grey Green closer to, in which he answered Ranger Green. Response time did take nine hours but then again, it wasn't an item that requires urgent answer. His English seems alright for a second language speaker and doesn't exhibit the artificial feel of certain China-based sellers using machine translation.

As of the time of writing, Reebow Gear has a 97.7% positive rating, averaging at 4.7 out of 5 stars from 2060 user ratings. The shop has been in business on AliExpress since 2nd June 2012.
